To the tropics & beyond FROM NEW ZEALAND TO THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

Journey to the most exotic locations on Earth, in the luxurious surroundings of the new Seabourn Encore

-

Since it was founded in 1986, Seabourn has been committed to redefining ultra-luxury travel, and this January it reached new heights with the unveiling of the Seabourn Encore in Singapore. Designed to feel like a private club, the ship offers guests expansive open decks, inviting social spaces and the personalised attention of exceptional staff, who will anticipate your every need. The 300 all-verandah suites have ocean views and are stocked with Molton Brown products; you’ll find six open bars and lounges, and world-class cuisine from the multiMichelin-starred chef Thomas Keller.

Enhancing the sense of relaxation, all of the ship’s dining venues are complimentary – eat where you want, when you wish, with whoever you like. Casual or elegant, indoors, alfresco or in your suite… the array of choices invites you to be spontaneous. You can meet and mingle with fellow guests in a carefree atmosphere, where no one has to pick up the bill. Further innovative features include Seabourn Square, a multi-purpose concierge lounge at the heart of the ship, which is home to a speciality coffee bar, a library and a computer centre, along with four dedicated staff members who can assist with everything from currency exchange to restaurant reservations.

Yet there is plenty to tempt you out of doors with the itineraries on offer. In the winter 2017-2018 season, Seabourn’s award-winning ships are offering you the chance to explore some of the most exotic corners of the globe – from the mysteries of the Orient to the Amazon jungles; secluded Caribbean harbours to

Unesco World Heritage Sites. You’ll also benefit from Seabourn’s unique partnership with Unesco, which allows guests the opportunity to go behind the scenes at some of the world’s most breathtaking locations.

On the 14-night Exotic Caribbean trip, hidden gems await. Starting and finishing in Barbados, Seabourn’s intimate ships will take you off the beaten track to beautiful islands where larger ships can’t go, including Iles des Saintes in Guadeloupe, and Bequia in St Vincent. You can choose to spend a day with chefs in local markets or take the crew’s advice on which beach has the most vibrant underwater life to explore. Additional experiences unique to Seabourn include Caviar in the Surf and complimentary water sports at Mayreau and Carambola Beach; and a marina day with complimentary water sports at Jost Van Dyke and Iles des Saintes (weather permitting).

The magical Great Barrier Reef, cosmopolitan Melbourne and the splendours of Sydney Harbour make fitting backdrops for the new Seabourn Encore. As a guest on Seabourn’s New Zealand & Australia cruise, you can experience a Maori haka in style and luxury, travelling between Auckland and Sydney over the course of 16 nights. See towering geysers, bubbling mud pots, mineral springs and steaming fumeroles in the surreal thermal landscape of Rotorua. Alternatively, an 18-night Gold Coast & Great Barrier Reef voyage from Sydney to Benoa in Bali also takes in the unique sights of Hamilton Island, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin and Komodo Island, among others.
