West London boroughs lead the tables in infidelity survey
TJG1ST THERE’S bad news if you live in Kensington and Chelsea and you’re married... The borough has just been named London’s infidelity hotspot.
It ranks top of a new survey, with neighbouring Hammersmith and Fulham not far behind in third place out of 33.
Brent and Ealing were other west London boroughs which had the dubious honour of making it into the top 10.
Research was carried out by premium site xxxpanded, which concluded doing the horizontal cha-cha with someone that wasn’t your partner was highest in relatively wealthy areas.
A spokesperson said: “Research has found that rich and powerful men and women are more likely to cheat.
“Having status and power is desirable to others. These individuals could face more temptation and loneliness when working long hours away from their partners, and crave that same adrenaline rush they so often experience in their work.”
The poll was conducted between January to September 2016, with a sample of 5,212 adult TRANSPORT for London (TfL) is proposing to make changes to a popular bus route between Ealing Broadway and Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
Consultation to change the service between the A406 Hanger Lane and Ealing Broadway station, next to Haven Green, was launched on October 12.
The changes would mean the 112 running via Madeley Road, not currently used as a bus route, and would see three new bus stops built there.
But it would mean the service would no longer run in Hanger Lane south of Madeley Road, men and women who live in one of the London boroughs.
More than 12% of people from the Royal borough admitted to cheating at least once, with Hammersmith and Fulham scoring 11.5%.
Hillingdon comes 12th with 8.3%, while the best behaved west London borough was Westminster, in 25th place with 6.8%
The best behaved couples in London can be found in Havering on the borders with Essex, where only 2.6% said they had done the dirty on their partner. Uxbridge Road, The Mall and The Broadway, with these roads continuing to be served by route 483.
TfL claim the change would result in reducing journey times by up to eight minutes during peak times, and improve reliability.
The service would maintain its frequency of buses every 12 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday, every 15 minutes on Sundays and every 20 minutes in the evenings. Depending on the result of the consultation, it is hoped the changes would come into affect from Spring 2017.
