Uxbridge home used to host events with 200 people

A UXBRIDGE resident has been given a court order following several unlicensed events in October, including a party that saw around 200 people in the quiet cul-de-sac.

Police say the impact on the local community was “immense” and that multiple complaints were made about the address in Bosanquet Close.

Officers from Hillingdon Police’s antisocial behaviour team attended Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court and obtained a three-month Property Closure Order for the address, which restricts who can enter the property.

The unlicensed events included the erection of a large marquee, DJs playing music throughout the night, Portaloos being installed, and barbecues, with around 200 people attending, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The occupant has been issued with the closure order that shortlists who can enter the property, a noise abatement order, a formal warning banning parties at the address, and an injunction to stop the resident from engaging in antisocial activities, which could lead to an arrest if it is breached.

Neighbours complained to both the police and Hillingdon Council about the noise, drunken crowds and the number of vehicles crammed into the quiet residential area.
