Have you seen film stars out in the town?

Vine Street becomes a film location

UXBRIDGE residents might have spotted a lot of excitement around the town recently as camera crews, actors, and filming equipment have popped up during production of an expected Margot Robbie film.

A black screen was recently constructed in Vine Street and highpowered lighting systems were set up as men in period suits were spotted inside Randalls department store.

The next morning there was more excitement as the front of the historic shop was transformed into a New York-style toy shop and Vine Street became host to hot dog stands and classic cars.

Rumours online point towards the filming of a new Margot Robbie film about the life of beloved children’s author AA Milne, who wrote the timeless Winnie the NEW ROLES: Pooh series.

Here is everything we know about the film so far...

The film is guaranteed to be a star-studded cast as Hollywood golden girl Margot Robbie is due to play a major role in the film, believed to be titled Goodbye Christopher Robin.

Robbie, hot off the box office (but not critical) success of the comic book adaptation Suicide Squad, will be starring alongside another big Hollywood name, Domhnall Gleeson.

The Irish actor has already hit our screens in massive films like the Harry Potter series and the Star Wars reboots.

Scottish actress Kelly MacDonald is also listed amongst the cast after her long term success in film from Trainspotting in 1996 to Harry Potter in 2011.

Despite the Hollywood stars attached to filming in Uxbridge, we’ve yet to spot Miss Robbie around the town, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.

If you spot any A-listers, be sure to let us know and send us your celebrity selfies.
