Burglars strike twice in street
Man chases armed trio out of home
POLICE are appealing for information after three people wielding weapons burgled one home and were chased out of another on the same road in Northolt.
Officers said three suspects broke into a property in Hornbeam Close on Friday December 30 where they stole money while the occupants were asleep upstairs.
A quantity of cash was stolen in the early hours in the morning.
Then in the same morning, the trio broke into a neighbouring home but woke up the occupant, who confronted them.
The resident chased them out of his house and smashed the rear window of their getaway car, TARGETED: which was identified as a pale blue Citroen C3, police said.
A spokesman for the Met Police said: “Both burglaries are thought to have been carried out by the same suspects who were wielding weapons.”
Officers from Ealing CID are appealing for witnesses and information, in particular from anyone who may have seen the damaged Citroen or carried out repairs on the the rear window.
Anyone with information should call DC Nicholas Strachan at Ealing CID on 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
