Threat of flights from Northolt

-

I WOULD like to know why the council is throwing ratepayers’ money away on supposedly

opposing the expansion of Heathrow when over 500 residents in South Ruislip with a petition have been complaining to the leader of the council

Mr Puddifoot, MP John Randall and now – for over 12 months– Boris Johnson, our MP, about RAF Northolt being allowed to become a private airport with MOD flights of 4,500 rising with private flights to 17,500 since 2010.

And now the company Fly BE applying to fly out of here, but nobody is interested in the welfare of any of us even though pollution, noise level is rising also the danger from these planes becoming larger and so near to our homes.

There are also other areas around this airport with the same concerns. It has been suggested by Anna Williams that I mention I am working alongside her (but for our area) who has the same problem. D LEWINGTON Mahlon Avenue Ruislip
