Beck Theatre
NEED something to warm your winter’s night? Well, the folky foursome known as Kara return to Uxbridge Folk Club on Thursday January 26, from 8pm. Daria Kulesh, a phenomenal female vocalist well versed in the folk tradition and not adverse to occasionally singing in Russian, fronts this current incarnation, which also boasts the award-winning melodionist/accordionist/vocalist Phil Underwood among their ranks. With superb singer/songwriter/ guitarist Pete Morton and the sublime hammered dulcimer vibrations from Kate Rouse added into the mix, your evening’s spirits will be lifted to the rafters and beyond.
Support comes in the shape of Amy Goddard.
