Shocked onlookers watch level crossing lunacy
CYCLIST TRESPASSES OVER RAILWAY TRACK AND IS JUST MISSED BY HIGH-SPEED TRAIN
A CYCLIST has been filmed dicing with death on a level crossing in North Sheen.
He was filmed on Thursday last week forcing his way through the barriers and lifts his bike over, rather than waiting for the train to pass.
Once through the fencing, he shouts at a concerned onlooker “I don’t f****** care, mate”.
A fast-moving train rushes past moments later, mere inches away from the pedestrian.
The impatient man even angrily shakes his fist at the train as it speeds past.
In the background, a footbridge can be seen only 20 yards away from the level crossing.
The person who shot the video said the train then had to do an emergency stop and the man “climbed back over the barrier” and used the footpath.
The video of the incident generated a lot of attention on Twitter and social media users have been expressing their thoughts about how idiotic the move was.

Last month, the British Transport Police (BTP) posted about the danger of trespassing on a railway and said one person commits this crime every hour.
According to BTP and Network Rail, last year the number of people trespassing on tracks rose by 22%.
