Girl hit by car treated for leg injury

AN 11-year-old girl who was struck by a car in Ruislip on Friday September 8 has suffered only a leg injury, police have confirmed.

Officer from the Met Police added that no arrests have been made following the crash in West End road, but the driver of the vehicle is assisting police with enquiries.

The incident, involving a Nissan Micra, happened at around 3pm.

The road was closed at around 3pm and buses on route E7 were diverted as police dealt with the scene.

The statement from police on Friday said: “Police were called to West End Road, j/w Berkeley Close at just before 3pm on Friday September 8 to reports of a road traffic collision.

“At the scene, an 11-year-old girl had been in collision with a Nissan Micra car.

“The girl was taken by London Ambulance Service to a west London hospital for treatment to a leg injury.

“Her family has been notified and are with her. We await an update on her condition.”

On Saturday, police said the girl has “a leg injury only.”
