Nelly and Nora need you

-

HERE at RSPCA Middlesex North West branch we currently have a number of cats all looking for new loving home.

Two of these cats have been waiting since November 2017 for someone to pick them however, they are still here with the branch patiently waiting for someone to choose them.

Nelly is five years old and a beautiful black female, her older sister Nora is now nine years old and an equally beautiful black and white female. This sweet pair of cats are hoping to find a loving forever home together after being signed over with several other cats as their owner was no longer able to care for them.

These girls are gorgeous, so sweet and friendly, real lap lovers. Not much seems to faze them particularly Nora, who spends most of her day following her foster mum and young son around waiting for them to stop what they are doing so she can get a quick tickle and head rub in! Nelly is a little less demanding for attention; she likes to spend most of her day snoozing (like most cats) and will come out for cuddles, once she has finished catching up on her beauty sleep. Both cats love lots of fuss and attention and are very calm and gentle.

These cats would be ideally suited for someone who is around for a large portion of the day.

Nora particularly loves the attention so being left for a long working day probably wouldn’t suit her character. As Nelly and Nora have shared their home with other feline friends in the past, they may even be happy sharing their new lives with other resident cats. A garden will be a must for these girls so they can explore and potter around in their new pads when the mood takes them.

If you think, you could offer a forever home to these Nelly, Nora or any of the cats, rabbits or small animals we currently have in our care looking for a home for life then please call us on (020) 8966 9688 or email us at info@rspcamiddlesex.org.uk.

Bike ride

If you didn’t get a place in this year’s Prudential Ride London, the RSPCA have a small number of places available.

The fifth annual Ride London event will take place over the weekend of July 28-29. It starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and follows a 100-mile route of closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous during London 2012 Olympics, it’s a spectacular event for all involved. Registration fee: £50, minimum fundraising commitment: £400.
