CROSSRAIL PUTS SLOUGH ON HOT PROPERTY MAP
Trinity is a new development of 114 apartments that presents an opportunity to be part of a thriving new neighbourhood
HIGHLIGHTED as one of 2018’s big movers and shakers in the UK buy-to-let property market and ranked in the top three commuter towns, Slough is primed to offer a wealth of investment opportunities for buyers thanks to its Crossrail connections.
The town already offers fast and reliable services to London Paddington in 17 minutes and the arrival of the Elizabeth Line and Slough station next year will provide direct access to central London (Bond Street) in 31 minutes, the City (Liverpool Street) in 38 minutes and Canary Wharf in 46 minutes.
Slough is also benefitting from a £290 million regeneration scheme. The Heart of Slough project covers three hectares and will provide 70,000 sq m of office space, a 120-bedroom hotel, bus station and new homes.
The new commercial quarter will also create 4,800 permanent jobs bringing a surge of professionals to the town.
Ideally located to benefit from this influx is Trinity by Shanly Homes, a development of 114 apartments across three urban villas currently being built on the Windsor Road.
Designed by bblur architecture in the same vein as Slough’s new cultural centre, The Curve, Trinity offers a distinctive entrance to the town.
The latest phase of homes has seen the releasing 16 two-bedrooms apartments with prices starting from £335,000 and Help to Buy available. Open plan interior schemes feature kitchens with AEG integrated appliances, while master bedrooms are completed withe ensuites and fitted wardrobes.
From the first floor upwards, all apartments have outdoor space with private balconies, and a selection of top floor apartments will have roof terraces. All properties will have one allocated parking space.
Nigel Sawers, sales and marketing director at Shanly Homes, commented: “Although located on the outskirts of the town centre, Trinity is only six minutes’ walk from the High Street and under 15 minutes to the railway station. Trinity presents a real opportunity for investors and homeowners to reap the rewards of Slough’s rejuvenation in terms of financial return and being part of a new, thriving neighbourhood.”
The show home at Trinity is open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. For more information on Trinity and Shanly Homes’ other developments, please visit www.shanlyhomes.com or call: 01494 685825.
