Bold bunny who’s ready to rock

-

THE Easter bunny may have been and gone but here in the branch we still have over 20 rabbits looking for new loving homes.

If you would like to give a pet, a much-needed second chance we would love to hear from you. Many of the animals in our care have had a tough start so it’s very important that their next home is the right home and a forever home.

Adopting an animal requires a long term commitment to their welfare and means that you will need to ensure you can provide for your adopted pet needs.

If you are looking to introduce rabbits to your family please have a look at our website www.rspca-middlesex.org.uk

The Easter Bunny’s

Easter, Mary and Magdeline came into our care after their owner tried to abandon them outside the RSPCA cattery in Southall.

These girls are all friendly and used to regular handling. They will be looking for homes as indoor pets, and can be homed either as a group of three or separately as a pair and single rabbit to be bonded with an existing rabbit. They will need lots of space to run about and stretch their legs and many interesting things to explore and investigate.

Rocket

This handsome young man is very lively, inquisitive, and looking for an outdoor home to share with a lonely girl. He is quite a bold chap but he really isn’t very keen on being picked up or handled, and is prone to nibbling you when you pick him up for a check over.

Rocket is best suited to life as an outdoor rabbit where he will have lot of space to run about and stretch his legs and many interesting things to explore and investigate.

He is looking for a confident rabbit owner who will not mind the odd nip when he gets annoyed with you. As sociable animals, Rocket will need a female companion to live with.

Please be aware that we do not rehome single rabbits as solo pets. All our single rabbits are looking for neutered opposite sex rabbits who they can be bonded with.

Before adopting, you will need at hutch at least 6ft x 2ft with a run of no less than 6ft x 4ft. You will need to budget for £5.00 per week to cover food and bedding, plus annual cost of vaccination and insurance. As they live between seven and ten years, it is a huge but rewarding commitment in both money and time.

If you think, you could offer a forever home to any of our rabbits, cats or small animals we currently have looking for a home for life then please call us on (020) 8966 9688 or email us at: info@rspcamiddlesex.org.uk.
