Spate of knife attacks across west London

DETECTIVES investigat­ing the stabbing of a man in Hayes are continuing to search for evidence as they lead the hunt to catch the attacker.

The victim, whose age has not yet been revealed by emergency services, was stabbed repeatedly on Station Road, in the town centre, at 3.34am on Monday.

He was found injured outside Card Factory and Trend...Z, and was rushed to a west London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

His condition has since been described as life-threatenin­g by the Metropolit­an Police.

Both stores remained closed on Monday morning.

One police car could be seen parked in front of the cordon, while a piece of silver material with a traffic cone on top could also be seen on the floor in front of Card Factory. No arrests have been made.

Following the news of the stabbing, people took to Facebook to air their concerns.

One woman said: “Everyday is a stabbing or killing. What is going on in this country? Sad and worrying times... my gosh.”

Another added: “This is getting worse now. Something needs to be done. Poor man.”

■ A 34-year-old man was knifed in Isleworth.

Police were called to Mogden Lane shortly after 10.30pm on Saturday to reports of a stabbing.

Officers from the Met attended, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS).

The victim was initially treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

A Met spokespers­on has confirmed the victim’s condition has been assessed as non life-threatenin­g.

■ Two men were also knifed in a brutal attack in Ealing.

Metropolit­an Police officers rushed to Kingsbridg­e Avenue at around 4.35am on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.

When they arrived at the scene officers discovered two men suffering with stab injuries.

Both victims, whose ages have not been revealed by the Met, were rushed to a west London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

Neither man is in a life-threatenin­g condition.

Police have arrested one man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

■ Officers from the Met Police believe that a man found stabbed near West Ealing station was injured before a crash with another car.

Police were called at 1.18am on Sunday to reports of an injured man outside West Ealing station, in Drayton Green Road.

Paramedics also attended the scene, where a man in his 20s was discovered inside a vehicle suffering from a stab wound.

Despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police investigat­ions at the scene have been focusing on a white BMW and a dark Mini that appear to have been involved in a collision.

■ In east London, there was a large police presence in Tower Hamlets following a fatal knifing, in Buckle Street, Whitechape­l, at 8.48am on Saturday (November 23) following reports of a stabbing.

A 27-year-old man was found wounded and died at the scene.

■ A 24-year-old man died in hospital after being stabbed in Seven Kings, Ilford.
