MAKE IT YOUR BUSINESS FEATURES LOCAL FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS AS PART OF ITS FIRST UXBRIDGE EVENT
STYLIST to the stars Keren Beaumont, Jacqueline O’ Donovan, MD of O’Donovan Waste Disposal and Neomi Bennett, founder of Neo-Slip to encourage local entrepreneurs with their business journey.
‘Make It Your Business,’ a nationwide initiative, aimed to encourage and support women to start their own business will spotlight several local entrepreneurs in its first Uxbridge event Friday, November 29, 4.15pm at The Clubhouse, Uxbridge Business Park, Sanderson Road, UB8 1DH
The panellists will be sharing their stories of starting their own businesses and offering advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Established by entrepreneur, writer and broadcaster Alison Cork, Make It Your Business runs seminars across the country, providing opportunities for women to meet established local female entrepreneurs, learn from their experiences and network with other local aspiring female entrepreneurs in a relaxed environment.
The session starts with networking, followed by the panellists candid accounts of the highs and lows of starting a business, and then there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
Tickets are free for this event, and guests will also receive free membership to Make It Your Business, receiving invitations to future events and monthly advice from the MIYB team.
Alison Cork, Founder said: “Make It Your Business is a UK-wide initiative to encourage women to start their own business, and it works because we are building strong local networking groups that give women the vital moral and practical support they need. As someone who is an entrepreneur, I have a particular interest in helping to foster enterprise and support women who want to take that first step into owning a business.”
