Sightings and messages in the skies above us

UFOLOGIST REVEALS LONDON IS A HOTSPOT FOR VISITS

-

KNOWN as the Guru of UFOs, Richard Lawrence has written 11 books about extra-terrestrials and is the Executive Secretary of The Aetherius Society – an international spiritual organization dedicated to spreading, and acting upon, the teachings of advanced extraterrestrial intelligences.

Over the phone, the Fulham man is nothing like what modern society might paint a person with those beliefs to be. Instead he is well-spoken, reasonable and most of all, convincing.

Richard said: “My wife and I go out for walks at night for exercise and we make a point of looking at the sky. That’s a key point - you don’t get a sighting if you aren’t looking.

“We have had one or two sightings in Fulham. They were not any known objects, like satellites, aircraft or drones, if you have a sighting it has a different flight pattern, one had the shape of a bell and stopstarted in the sky.”

Apparently, London is the number one UFO sighting hotspot, and I question the 66-year-old on why this might be.

He agreed that it might just be that there are more people in the capital to report them, or Londoners are more likely to report them.

He adds: “I do think London is very significant because there are a lot of spiritual goings on, as well as political and financial.”

Richard is very keen to emphasise that he wouldn’t force his beliefs on anyone else, and that most people he speaks to have approached him to discuss the matter – but he does have advice for people who are curious and want to know more.

He said: “I would say that everybody I speak to, they have their own place they are coming from.

“If you look at UFOs you need to look at the beings that control them – they wouldn’t look at cars like Vauxhall, Corsa, Honda.

“My advice would be to look at anyone who is authentic and claims to have contact with beings on the craft – I think you will find there isn’t a claimant to compare to Dr George King.

“We [The Aetherius Society] have a record number of sightings. Look into it and see if they stand up to your merit.

And what about if people just refuse to believe other life forms exist?

Richard said: “That’s a very closed minded view because they don’t know that what I’m saying is wrong, if they disbelieve without investigating. Just because it sounds unlikely doesn’t mean it’s not true. Throughout history there have been many things that sounded untrue, such as the discovery of electricity and poor Galileo.”

Richard also has trained himself over the years to channel beings from higher realms. He makes it clear that it’s a real skill, something that isn’t for everyone and takes years to acquire – in particular it’s hard to discriminate between your imagination and a genuine communication from an external source.

He explained: “Most people who are mediums aren’t completely accurate, and that’s assuming they’re real at all. Then you get people like myself who practised for over 25 years before putting it on to paper.

“It’s not easy at all, it takes a lot of concentration and effort.

“If I’m on form – and I have practised for many years – I will get words and I will get letters, and I’m not thinking at all about the meaning of these words, I’m just concentrating on the words. If you start thinking about it your own mind can colour the message.

“Sometimes I will have a sense of the voice but sometimes I won’t.”

He gave an example of one of his most incredible channelling moments, when he ended up writing a 17th-century poem in iambic tetrameter in just three minutes.

He said that something like that can’t be your imagination and so demonstrates the truth of it.

“I know it’s genuine and that is what really matters.”

He added that sometimes something will happen and you don’t know if it’s real or what it means: “Sometimes you don’t know and that’s okay – it’s okay not to know”.

While he’s never counted his UFO sightings he believes he’s seen around 10 in his lifetime, most recently in 2017 in Devon.

But the big question that anyone - believer or not – wonders is what do they want?

Richard said: “They want humanity to change. They won’t force it, but that’s what they want.

“I think that what they want is humanity to change and will help us. They’re not going to imperialise the planet, they won’t rob us of our greatest freedom – experience.

“They have made that point. When we ask for a sign of their existence they say give us a sign. When you turn towards peace then our landings will take place.”

He explained that a major mistake many make when trying to disprove the existence of extra-terrestrials is they expect the beings to behave in the same way we would. They don’t, and therefore people assume they don’t exist.

Currently, during the coronavirus crisis, the society is holding ‘world healing services’ online, which Richard says is ‘in cooperation with beings from other worlds.’

He encourages anyone and everyone to join in and see what it’s all about.
