POLICE WANT TO IDENTIFY FOUR YOUNG MEN

- By JAMES BAYLEY

DESPITE dwindling footfall on the London Underground due to the coronavirus pandemic, passengers are still falling victim to theft and robbery on the Tube.

Officers investigating several robberies and attempted robberies on the London Underground have released CCTV images of four young men they want to identify.

At 5.45pm on Wednesday November 18 2020, four men attempted to take a passenger’s bag while on a Tube train.

The victim managed to get away at Piccadilly Circus station where the men then chased him.

Half an hour later on the same evening, four people were followed from South Kensington station to Green Park station by four men.

When the unassuming passengers arrived onto Green Park platform, the four men robbed the victims of their possessions.

Just 24 hours later, three men approached another victim on a Tube train.

When the victim got off at Green Park station, the men chased the individual through the station.

Just over an hour later, three men approached someone at Westminster station and attempted to take the victim’s phone.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images above may have information which could help their investigation.
