TV detective Mindhorn who he believes to be a real person. Daft scenarios and surreal humour are in plentiful supply and the impressive supporting cast includes Andrea Riseborough, Russell Tovey, Essie Davis, Simon Farnaby and Steve Coogan.
A MAN is fighting for his life and another woman is in hospital after a serious crash on the M25 in Hillingdon.
Two people were pushing a broken down car on the roundabout at Junction 14, by Heathrow Airport, when a petrol tanker collided with them.
The crash happened at around 3.35pm on Saturday February 27.
A 44-year-old man is in a lifethreatening condition and a 20-year-old woman is now in a stable condition.
The driver of the tanker stopped at the scene and assisted police. It is believed that the car, a Mitsubishi Lancer, had broken down on the roundabout and the two occupants had got out to push.
No arrests have been made and police are urging possible witnesses to come forward.
Detectives particularly want to speak to the driver of a darkcoloured panel van which was stationary ahead of the Mitsubishi and who may have stopped to help before the collision.
A tipper lorry also overtook the car immediately prior to the collision.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers are appealing for the drivers of these vehicles, as well as any drivers in the vicinity at the time who may have witnessed this or have dash-cam footage, to come forward and help assist with the investigation.
