Costco entry refused to shopper in Iron Man mask

-

A VIDEO has been trending of an unidentified man who was barred from entering a wholesaler due to his outlandish mask.

The man, who is wearing an Iron Man mask, is shown entering Costco in Hayes behind a few other shoppers. He is then stopped by a security guard who waves him away out of the store.

What is even more shocking is the security guard allows a couple of men into the wholesalers who are without masks at all.

#Weareallone was the iconic hashtag accompanying the video, and people online are already questioning the decision of the store’s security guard.

One said: “How’s one going in without a mask. But stops the one wearing the real mask.

“Big up Marvel!”

Another said: “What’s his reason for not allowing entry?”

According to the company’s website, it still regulates the wearing of masks in its warehouses and entry is granted only with a face covering.

The website reads: “Effective from 23 December 2020, we will require all members, guests and employees to wear a face covering (that covers the nose and mouth) at all Costco warehouse locations.

“Entry to Costco will only be granted to those wearing a face mask or a face shield.

“Children under the age of 11 are exempt. This is no longer the case. If a member/guest has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must instead wear a face shield”.

It is clear in the online video that no face shields nor masks are seen on the couple of men who were allowed in the store.

Costco has been contacted for a comment.
