Two women in park surrounded by seven thugs
MEN DEMANDED SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
TWO women were surrounded by seven men who didn’t let them leave a West London Park until they gave the thugs their social media accounts.
Two women, from Northolt West London, were left ‘scared and shaken’ by the intimidating men.
The women ran from the men, falling over in their attempts to escape the intimidating group.
The incident happened in the Northala Fields, Northolt, on November 1 at around 4pm.
The incident wasn’t taken up by the police as no actual crime had taken place, despite the intimidating behaviour of the men.
One of the women took to Facebook to warn others about her situation, she said: “Just a warning for any lone females planning walks/trips around Northala fields. I was at Northolt hills this evening walking my dog for a charity walk and a group of about seven men surrounded me and a friend.
“They were taking pictures and blocking and boxing us in so we couldn’t get out of the situation and demanding I give them my social media, I had to grab my dog in my arms and almost slid down, risked hurting myself and the dog but thankfully he’s fine, they were then taunting and following us.”
The women said that because no crime was committed there wasn’t anything they could go to the police with.
Despite being intimidated and risking injury trying to escape the men, they weren’t touched or verbally threatened.
The other friend also warned other women about the lack of safety she feels in the capital, she said: “It makes my heart drop that people have to live in this fear… it’s not fair, we hardly ever get heard. We just get told “it’s our fault” or, “we were asking for it”.
“This world makes me feel so unsafe, and the people that are supposed to protect us, aren’t protecting us. What’s a ‘word with them’ gonna do ? They need to be punished!! We’re not f!cking animals, we are human. Start treating us like it!!”
