Wipe years off your age with our Lol-some facial workout
Get a natural face lift with this emoji-inspired workout
Spending hours glued to our smart phones and frowning over our Instagram feeds is leaving our faces scrunched up and stressed-out. Not being 18 any more doesn’t help, either, so it’s no wonder a recent Groupon survey found that we’re shelling out an average of £57.30 every month on make-up and antiageing products and procedures.
But the latest clock-reversing fad sweeping the A-list isn’t a gruesome new surgery or swanky facial. It’s a simple – and free – anti-wrinkle workout for the face.
Danielle Collins (far right) is the world’s leading face yoga expert – yes, that is actually a thing – and has created a Face Fit workout based on emojis, which takes just a few minutes each day and won’t require you to go near any Lycra. Danielle even says that the results are visible almost immediately.
“Face yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier,” she tells us. And with celebs fans including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Louise Redknapp, it’s becoming a great alternative to the surgeon’s knife. Danielle explains, “It’s a combination of exercises, massage, acupressure and relaxation. It’s like a natural face lift and doesn’t cost a penny.
“So many clients say they have been to the gym to get their body in shape, but their face doesn’t match. You have 57 muscles in your face, so why wouldn’t you work them out just like the rest of your body?” We’re sold.
