Cheryl and Liam Payne’s baby is the most waitedfor newborn ever, and heat can reveal that the new parents are having to turn down offers worth millions of pounds and are donating mountains of baby gifts to charity.
Our source tells us, “The fact that Cheryl kept so quiet about her pregnancy – and that it’s a One Direction baby – means it’s hugely anticipated. She’s been receiving tons of big-money offers from magazines for the first pictures, or even just a statement to confirm whether it’s a boy or girl. TV shows are desperate for news, too. Her agent is being flooded daily with offers – it’s adding up to vast sums.”
With A-listers garnering seven-figure sums for their baby pics, especially in the US, where Liam is a big name, the couple could have offers totalling as much as £2million. But it’s not just baby news everybody’s after – big brands and shops are angling to get a slice of the Chiam pie. Our source explains, “She’s been inundated with offers to design baby clothes, endorse products – everything. Loads of companies are trying to send massive deliveries of baby products to her, too. A couple of car companies have even offered their latest models for her to drive in the first baby pictures.”
And the wee one could score big, too. We’re told, “There are mountains of baby products being sent in – clothes, cots, toys, high chairs, play mats. Cheryl and Liam aren’t sure what to do with it all. They’ll probably send back the big items and give the rest to charity.”
For now, our source tells us the pair – who are thought to be worth £50m – have turned down all chat-show offers and magazine deals. “Cheryl has said she won’t sell her baby to the highest bidder – she doesn’t need the money.”
