Meet the Billion Dollar Babies!

Fortunately, she’s not short of a bob or two…

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins, Binky and JP’S Chelsea bub and the long-awaited miniChiam are all set for seriously swanky childhoods – and we’ve uncovered all the details

With Jay Z once boasting he’d hung a Basquiat painting in Blue Ivy’s nursery and joking that she’d used his 2014 Grammy for Holy Grail as a “sippy cup”, is it really any surprise that Bey Z are going to town shopping for the twins that are due this June? From seriously amped-up security, to gold rocking horses and artwork, Queen B’s not holding back.

“Everyone’s calling those kids the ‘Billion Dollar Babies’, because it’s absolutely insane the amount of cash being blown on them,” an insider tells heat.

But Jay, 47, and Beyoncé, 35 – who have a combined net worth of $900million – have the cash to splash. The pair already own a $7m penthouse in New York and a $2.6m mansion in New Orleans, and are now looking to buy a new pad in Los Angeles (with a budget of $100m), and we’re told there’ll be seriously swanky double nurseries in both the NY and LA pads. Our source says, “Bey and Jay are spending almost $1million in each place. They’re combining two giant rooms into one, there’s almost no budget limitations – only the best of the best will do. There’s going to be state-ofthe-art hi-fi and systems that can monitor the babies’ heartbeats and oxygen levels, heated organic floors, sterile changing stations, a wet room and even a panic room. It’s going to be a massive nursery suite.”

But Bey is being mindful to involve Blue Iv y, five, in the process. “Right now, Beyoncé’s world revolves around getting things ready for the twins – she’s so excited, and she’s got Blue Ivy into it. They spend hours every day online shopping for baby clothes and stuff for the nursery. Blue loves it, because when the packages arrive, she gets to open everything.”

And the twins aren’t getting standard Mothercare stuff. “These aren’t your average baby clothes,” reveals our source. “Everything is designer. Bey bought almost every item in Gucci’s latest baby collection – the onesies go for nearly $500 a piece, so you can imagine how quickly it added up. Beyonce easily spent $150k at Gucci alone.”

When it comes to toys and artwork, a Sophie the Giraffe toy isn’t cutting the mustard, either. “Beyoncé and Jay dropped more than half a million on a solid gold rocking horse for Blue Ivy and the plan is to get one for each of the twins, too. To them, it’s more than just a status symbol, it’s also an investment for their kids. They have the same outlook when it comes to the décor – they’ve been buying up fine art for the walls. We’re talking museum-quality pieces, millions of dollar s worth.”

But most important is the staff. Our source says, “Blue Ivy already has two nannies, and the plan is to hire two more each for the twins. They’re going to have a staff of six highly-paid carers, plus 24/7 round-the-clock newborn nursing care, as well as an army of doctors and pediatricians on 24-hour call. Then there’s the increase in security – four more specialforces-level guards. These babies are going to have it all – they’re about to be the most spoiled newborns on the block.” n
