The Kardashian kids are launching a telly takeover
Think the world has reached peak Kardashian yet? We’re not even close. Last week, it was revealed that Kylie Jenner will get her own spin-off show, Life Of Kylie, which will show her “unique life as an entrepreneur, fashion designer, author, television star, style icon and Ceo/founder of Kylie Cosmetics”.
But the Kyles has some tiny toes hot on her heels for stardom, as heat can reveal there is a new reality show also in the works, and this one revolves around the best-dressed lot of the bunch. We are, of course, referring to the Kardashian kids.
“This has been in the pipeline since North was born, but now Rob’s baby Dream has come along, it’s opened up the storylines more and made it a feasible project,” says an insider close to the family. “It’s a controversial move but, done the right way, Kris [Jenner] is convinced they can pull it off.”
Naturally, Momager Kris is behind the project, which will take a look into the lives of the six-strong brood of Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick, North and Saint West, and Dream Kardashian. But rather than flaunt their lavish (read: spoilt) lifestyles, sources say Kris is determined to show viewers that her grandkids are “still being parented properly”. Our insider adds, “The way she’s pitching it, it will simply be a look into the lives of these adorable little kids. She wants the fans to see her children’s parenting skills, because she’s proud of them.”
But it seems there’s more to Kris’ scheme than granny pride, as we’re told the show is the latest attempt to rescue flagging KUWTK ratings. Our source says she was “dumbstruck that not even Kim’s robbery would pull in more viewers” and so has been “looking into all kinds of spin-off shows”.
