JUSTIN AND BRITNEY GET IT ON… MUSICALLY
Looks like our favourite couple are reuniting… in the recording studio
They split up a massive 15 years ago, but has one day passed where you didn’t think about Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in their matching denim outfits? Nope, didn’t think so.
Well, we have good news – because it looks like they’re getting back together… in the studio, to make new music. And here’s the evidence.
Posting about his upcoming album two weeks ago, Justin Instagrammed a pic of himself in the studio with producers Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. But it doesn’t seem like anyone was doing too much work, because that same night, Timbaland went on a Twitter and Instagram liking spree, double tapping over 100 old pictures of Justin and Britney from back in the day, posted by fan accounts. Yes, those do still exist for “Justney”.
Then JT retweeted (and deleted) a tweet hashtagged, “It’s Britney, bitch,” and Justin’s mum, Lynn Harless, liked a load of old pics of Brit and JT together. Then another producer on Justin’s new album, Danja – who also worked on Brit’s
Blackout – posted a throwback pic of Britney. Hmmm.
Justin, 36, is happily married to Jessica Biel and they have a son two-year-old Silas, together, and Brit, 35, is dating personal trainer Sam Asghari. But the former couple – who dated between 2000 and 2002 – have expressed an interest in working together again. Last year, Brit said she wanted to collaborate with him, saying, “He’s pretty good.” Justin then told reporters, “Sure, absolutely. Give me a call!”
