Meet the new Hollywood power couple. Yes, Brad Pitt and Sienna Miller are on – and we’ve got all the details
Nobody freak out, but Hollywood’s hottest new couple is really happening
Er, sorry, what? Sienna Miller and Brad Pitt? Flirting? WITH EACH OTHER? The heat office collectively lost our minds when the news broke last week that the recently single actor had been seen doing some “serious flirting” with Sienna at a private dinner for their new film The Lost City
Of Z. But heat can exclusively reveal that it wasn’t a one-off night of fun – oh no – these two have fancied each other “for years”, and have been on secret dates recently.
“They’re definitely into each other,” says author Ian Halperin, who wrote the biography,
Brangelina, and is currently making a documentary about Brad, 53. “He and Sienna worked
on the movie together two years ago – one of the reasons he cast her was because she is so attractive. They have a major, major connection. Brad thinks she’s gorgeous, with a great personality, and he loves how empowered she is.
“One of his friends told me that Brad thinks Sienna’s like a cross between his two exes, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. She has Jen’s personality – bubbly and funny – and Ange’s sexuality. It’s the ultimate combination for Brad – she’s his perfect woman.”
And Ian says the feeling’s very mutual. “Sienna loves him,” he tells heat, speaking from his office in New York. “She thinks he’s gorgeous and classy. I think they’re 1,000 per cent better suited than Brad and Angelina ever were. They’ve met up several times now, and have done dinner a couple of times.”
It was the New York Post column Page Six that broke the story last Monday, speaking to sources at a six-hour dinner and party for 25 of the Lost City Of Z cast and crew, who’d seen Brad and Sienna, 35, “talking to each other all night”. They claimed that Brad – who was exec producer of the action-adventure film, while Sienna starred as Nina Fawcett – seemed “in very high spirits… heavily enjoying each other’s company”. When asked about the reports later that week, Sienna said with a smile, “I’m not going to even
dignify it with a response.”
There were rumours about the pair’s connection during filming, and Sienna was forced to deny there was anything between them back then, saying, “You know, he’s the producer of the film and I’ve met him twice.” An insider close to the actors tells heat, “Brad has always had chemistry with Sienna and was even originally supposed to play her husband in The Lost City Of Z. At the time, he was too busy with other things, so Charlie Hunnam was cast instead.
“Brad and Sienna met a few times back then, and when they saw each other at the dinner, they were immediately drawn to each other,” a party insider tells heat. “They talked about travel, art, and their children. They laughed a lot, and are both very self-deprecating. She is totally his type. They’ve been in touch since that night. They were laughing about it coming out in the Page Six story.”
But even though it seems both Brad and Sienna are both serious about this new relationship, Ian says they’ll keep things under the radar for as long as possible. “They want to make sure it’ll work out, so they would not go public until the timing’s right,” he tells us. “I know there’s huge chemistry there, but they have to be careful.”
Sure, it’s not the most straightforward of situations for either of them. Brad’s in the middle of a major custody battle over his kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, ten, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight – following his dramatic split from Ange, 41, back in September. Meanwhile, Sienna still spends a lot of time with her ex-fiancé, Tom Sturridge – dad to her daughter, Marlowe, four – even calling him her “best friend” recently. She’s also dated a number of other actors, including Orlando Bloom, who Brad worked with on Troy, and they’ve both worked with director Guy Ritchie and producer Matthew Vaughan, who are mutual friends.
“Brad’s never been one to worry about what anyone thinks – he just wants to be happy,” says Ian. “He knows Sienna is still friends with Tom and that there’s nothing romantic there. The only person Brad’s slightly intimidated by is Jude Law, because he kept coming back on the scene after he and Sienna broke up. But I think all their friends, like Guy and Matthew, are rooting for them to make it as a couple.”
The last time we spoke to Ian, earlier this year, he told us Brad was dating an A-lister with a child, but added, “Ange won’t like it.” But, as the furious divorce bitterness has cooled, so has the UN ambassador. “To be honest, Ange always knew Brad, like any man, found Sienna attractive, so this would be nothing new to her,” he tells us. “And life goes on. She’s long gone from her days of having big blow-ups about Brad. They’re on OK terms now, they’re just there for the kids. There’s no truth to the rumours that they’re getting back together, though – at this point, that would take a miracle.”
And with nothing standing in their way, Brad and Sienna could become A-list-dignify

couple royalty. “I do think they’re going to be the next big Hollywood pairing,” says Ian. “Apparently, it’s the best chemistry Sienna’s had with any guy since Jude Law, and Brad said he hasn’t had this kind of sexual chemistry and inspiration since filming Mr & Mrs Smith with Ange.
“They’re going to wait and see how it plays out, but they’ve bonded over their children, and if things heat up more and the trust develops, Brad would 100 per cent introduce them all to her. Honestly, there’s nothing Brad is worried or nervous about with Sienna. He’s not worried about the age gap at all. He’s lost a lot of weight on an organic diet, and he’s apparently telling everyone he feels like he’s 22 again. He goes by his gut and his gut says Sienna.”
Brienna? Siennad? How will this work without a decent couple name?
