They’ve done their fair share of beach hopping over the past few weeks, keeping us updated by posting photos of palm tree-laden vistas. We know, we’re #blessed.
And if you’ve got a holiday on the horizon, you’re in luck, because Charlotte Crosby and Binky Felstead, both 26, have got you (barely) covered. We sat down with the pair to discuss their brand-new swimwear ranges with Inthestyle, which launch this week. But with both girls having recently returned from sizzling hols with their respective men – Charlotte with boyfriend Stephen Bear, and mum-to-be Binky with baby daddy Josh “JP” Patterson – we had a few more bases to cover than Lycra cossies and kaftan cover-ups… Bikini season is nearly here. What’s your advice to someone who feels selfconscious on the beach? Dress for how you’re blessed – always accentuate your assets. Geordie lasses are famous for braving the cold in skimpy clothing. Did this give you an advantage when designing your swimwear? [Laughs.] When I designed my swimwear line, I didn’t picture myself walking down Northumberland Street wearing the pieces, but I like to think the range has a bit of everything. Who are your beach pin-ups? Pamela Anderson. She is #goals in her iconic red bather. What swimwear mistakes would you say you’ve made in the past? Just wearing unflattering bikinis when I was larger. You recently told us that Bear is The One. Are you hoping he’ll pop the question soon? We talk about it on a daily basis. I feel like we could get married tomorrow, but we’re both determined to take things slowly. But knowing us, we get too excited. Have you imagined how you would like him to propose? All I know is, I don’t want him to ask me too soon. We’re both passionate people… and impatient. We have to remind ourselves that all good things come to those who wait.
