Is Haylor making a comeback?
It looks like our favourite singing exes are ready to give love another go
T aylor Swift famously sang, “We are never, ever, ever getting back together,” but when your ex is as hot as Harry Styles, it must be really hard to stick to your word. Now, insiders tell heat the pair, who split three years ago, have been back in touch in recent weeks, and are now planning a reunion.
Last week, Harry, 23, admitted in an interview that Taylor was someone he had “really liked”, and opened up about their struggles to have a “normal” relationship. It clearly struck a chord with his 27-year-old ex, as friends say she gave him a call for a catch up. Now they think the former flames could be set to give their relationship another shot.
“Harry and Taylor spoke for about 20 minutes and seemed to get on really well. Taylor was saying she couldn’t wait to meet up with Harry and, even though they didn’t have time while he was in New York filming Saturday Night
Live, they’ve agreed to meet up soon at her LA home and spend some quality time together.”
Taylor and Harry were full-on when they first became a couple in 2012, going on romantic dates in New York’s Central Park. Fans dubbed the pair “Haylor” and we all know nothing says true love like the combining of names. But the romance came to an end just three months later, following an argument-filled New Year break in the British Virgin Islands.

I Knew You Were Trouble to “the person who inspired this song, because he knows exactly who he is”, the camera panned to an awkward-looking Harry. And, reportedly, most of the songs on her 2014 album 1989 dealt with the failed relationship.
But now it seems all is forgiven. Harry hinted that he was still in contact with exes, telling his friend Nick Grimshaw, “I haven’t dated in a long time really, because I went away to do the movie [Dunkirk], then did the album, so I haven’t in a while. I have a couple of candles left still, though.” The insider continues, “Taylor was hurt by the split, but has become really interested in Harry again. She’s watched him grow up over the years, and is really impressed with his solo material. She’s convinced he could be the new Justin Timberlake, and wants to get to know him again.”
