Kieran wants her to take a lie-detector test after wild night out
ur jaws dropped when we saw the pictures from Katie Price’s latest work trip to Miami. Photographed appearing to kiss and get “touchy-feely” with an unknown man in a club (there’s a video doing the rounds, too), things weren’t looking great for the model’s marriage.
In the States to film her reality TV show My Crazy Life and shoot a music video with DJ Tom Zanetti, it looks like Katie, 38, then decided to let loose in the club, seemingly without giving husband Kieran Hayler, 30 – who was back at home with Katie’s five children – much thought.
Back at home, she immediately shared an Instagram picture of a ‘Kieran pillow’, followed by a photo and video of the pair laughing and cuddling, but it seems Kieran was still less than impressed, uploading a pensive picture and saying he needed to “clear his head”.
Sources confirm the fallout was dramatic. “Flying back from Miami, Katie didn’t know whether Kieran would be at the house,” an insider tells heat. “She made friends call him, and asked her best friend Jo, who lives nearby, to go and check. The couple had a massive row and she admitted to Kieran that yes, she had gone too far, but said she’d been filming all day without any food, and the cocktails and sun went to her head. She also said maybe somebody put something in her drink.
“Kieran said that was bullshit and was angry with her entourage for letting her get so drunk, and at Katie for putting herself in danger. He made her watch the video, and said she was an embarrassment and needs to do all the things she’s making him do – like therapy and a lie-detector test. He also wants to see her phone messages, like she sees his.”

‘Katie’s never been able to drink and Kieran wants her to stop’
after his affair with her best friend Jane Pountney three years ago. “It felt like being on death row in the electric chair,” he said afterwards.
Apparently, alcohol is the main problem. “Katie’s never been able to hold her drink, and Kieran wants her to stop. She went on live TV in December saying she would quit for a year, but only managed four weeks. He’s worried that because he went out two nights to the local pub while she was away, it set her off. She admits she still doesn’t trust him.”
And the drama could be pushing Kieran close to the edge. “The marriage is on thin ice – Katie has to do what he says to get things back on track. He does want to make it work. They’ve got two babies together and he adores all her children – he loves Harvey like his own.”
For now, Katie has her work cut out. “They’ve called in a crisis PR team, and they’re being told to put on a united front, and ignore the pictures. The problem is, Katie doesn’t always learn from past mistakes. This is exactly what she did when she was married to Pete – flirting with other men who make her feel sexy.”
