Mark’s new colleagues all fancy him

The girls at his new TV show have been busy Googling him

She might have handfuls of Sexiest Female accolades to her name, but it sounds like the boot might be on the other foot for Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright now – with Mark suddenly attracting a LOT of female attention after he landed a massive new TV role in the US.

After getting his first major American gig – as a showbiz reporter for Extra in LA, visiting the set of Niall Horan’s music video in his first segment, then interviewing James Corden – his American colleagues are apparently sitting up and taking notice of the Essex local. Our LA TV source says, “Most of the reporters at Extra had never heard of Mark when he got the job, but when they Googled him, they thought he was really hot. He’s definitely a hit with the ladies.”

Michelle, meanwhile, is thousands of miles away, filming her second series of Our Girl in Cape Town, South Africa. Mark flew out to see her last week, so they could spend their second wedding anniversary together.

And while he’s clearly won over his new female colleagues, if he impresses the big bosses at Extra, the move overseas could prove very lucrative indeed for the former reality star.

Our source explains, “Extra is always looking for new talent, and while they may only put him on a few jobs as a correspondent to start with, if they like him, they will get him back.

“When bosses first took on Mario Lopez, it was like he was in a boot camp, but he really impressed everyone with his work ethic and went on to do much bigger things.

“Hopefully, Mark will do the same and will be a hit with the team. It’s a great career step.” n
