SWIMMING PLANK

“Swimming requires good core and upper-body strength, and also helps to develop your abdominal muscles. The plank is one of my favourite core exercises, and the Superman-style position actually mimics a swimming motion. To complete this exercise, get into a plank position with your palms flat on the ground and slowly lift and extend one arm and the opposite leg. Hold this for ten seconds, relax, and repeat on the other side. Complete four on each side, rest for 30 seconds, and repeat three times in total.”
