‘I’ll be queen bee of reality TV mums’

She’s got her own show, but that’s just the beginning…

‘Binky thinks she can eclipse all her reality mum rivals’

Most mums-to-be put their feet up during their last few days of pregnancy – after all, it’s unlikely they’ll have much time to do it again for a while. But Binky Felstead is showing no signs of slowing down. With only days to go until she gives birth, she’s still busy filming for her new E4 spin-off show and plotting post-birth business plans. And she won’t rest until she’s the biggest reality mum on TV.

“Binky definitely thinks she has the edge over other stars like Ferne [Mccann] and Cheska [Hull], in terms of celebs who have become expectant mothers,” a source close to the Made In Chelsea star tells heat. “She has a lot of big plans with her new spin-off show and photo shoots, and she also wants to do a maternity line. It’s big business, so obviously she’s looking at the competition.”

Our insider adds, “Binky’s seen what other reality stars like Amy Childs and Sam Faiers have done since becoming mums, and she’s setting her sights even higher – she thinks she can eclipse them.”

Last week, the 26 year old announced she would be leaving

MIC, but promised fans, “You can still follow my personal journey… Keep your eyes peeled.” It was then revealed that she and baby daddy Josh “JP” Patterson, 27, would be fronting their own two-part show, capturing the weeks leading up to and following the birth.

But while Binks has yet to publicly reveal any plans beyond her spin-off, it’s clear she wants to make her mark. In April, she told heat that, instead of doing a Chelsea version of Sam Faiers’ The Mummy Diaries, she wanted to do something “along the lines of a documentary”, adding, “There’s a lot of interest around young mums at the moment, especially in my case, because it was such a shock.” Meanwhile, while pregnant, she modelled items from her Inthestyle range – potentially paving the way for a maternity line.

Before all that, however, there’s the small matter of giving birth – and as

heat reported, the star is sparing no expense. As well as booking a bed in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital [where Kate Middleton gave birth], she’s also planning to have “royal” doctor Tom Setchell deliver the baby. But then, it’s back to business.

“Binky’s not mean-spirited in any way,” our insider reveals. “But she loves a bit of healthy competition, and feels as though she’s one of the most popular mums-to-be on the reality TV landscape.”

In the meantime, the star is most likely putting all her efforts into choosing a name for her impending arrival. According to her MIC co-star Ryan Libbey, Binks and JP had to ditch their first choice of India after discovering that Amy Childs had also considered it for her daughter.

Let the battle for queen bee mum commence. Now, it’s personal.

Beyoncé’s just days away from giving birth to her twins, but that doesn’t mean she’s having a zen time. Friends say that Bey’s got some delivery room dramas, and has banned her father, Matthew, from coming to the birth. “Bey has told him that he’s not welcome at the hospital, and can meet the twins at a later date,” an insider tells heat. “But she has a feeling that Matthew is going to show up.”

As heat revealed two weeks ago, Beyoncé and husband Jay Z have hired several birthing suites at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA, so they can have their whole entourage and security team there during the birth. But one person their bodyguards won’t be letting past the door is Bey’s dad. The friend describes the singer’s relationship with Matthew as “fractured”, and adds, “He’s in complete denial about it and still thinks that he can just show up.”

Bey’s relationship with Matthew soured in 2009, when she discovered he’d fathered a child with another woman, while he was still married to Bey’s mum, Tina. The singer sacked Matthew as her manager in 2011, and while their relationship has improved since then (she Instagrammed her dad hanging out with sister Solange last year), things are still tense. He also loves to blab to the press – he told reporters his daughter’s due date, and last year he revealed that she didn’t tell him she was pregnant ahead of the Instagram announcement.

“Bey wants to control everything and Matthew is just not part of the picture at the moment,” says the friend. “The only family she’s allowing in are her husband, Blue Ivy, Tina and Solange.”n ISSY SAMPSON
