Bride-to-be Khloé sets the date
Khloé Kardashian is scoping out venues and planning a surgery overhaul ahead of her big day
T hey looked more loved-up than ever last weekend, as they headed out, hand-in-hand, to celebrate her 33rd birthday at Hollywood’s The Blind Dragon Club. And things between Khloé Kardashian and her boyfriend, NBA star Tristan Thompson, 26, are going from strength to strength.
In fact, they’re so strong the pair have set a wedding date, and have been looking at venues – despite the fact that they aren’t actually engaged. Choosing to break with tradition, Khloé has also offered to buy her own ring, telling Tristan that being in the public eye means they can play by their own rules.
“Khloé’s been open about wanting this for a while now, and Tristan is finally all-in – he realises that, ultimately, they have something special,” an insider tells heat. The only sticking point for the athlete? Joining the “Kardashian circus”. Sources say the basketball star is firmly against being filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as the show is known for putting relationships under the spotlight. “He’s willing to ride this Kardashian wave if Khloé promises to give him some distance from the TV show, and her mum and sisters,” explains our source.
And it sounds like the reality star is listening. “Khloé told him she’s learned her lessons from her disastrous first marriage to Lamar, as well as seeing the show’s negative effect on Kim’s marriage – and on her mum,” says our source. “As a result, they’ve compromised. It means that Khloé’s not scrimping on the wedding, which will be a no-holds-barred ceremony with hundreds of guests – they are already running well past 300. They’re looking at wineries and considering five-star hotels like The Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, in late summer or early autumn – the final cost could be more than six-figures.”
We’re told that Khloé’s new man has got the seal of approval from her inner circle, too, with her best friend Malika Haqq recently gushing, “I am so happy for Khloé and Tristan – they’re a match, they’re great

friends. Their relationship is incredibly effortless.” Family and friends are also said to be thrilled that Tristan is so different to Khloé’s former husband Lamar Odom, who she officially divorced in October last year following his cheating and drug abuse.
Either way, Khloé is determined to make some changes ahead of her second big day, after her wedding pictures with Lamar left her unhappy. “Khloé is talking about a full-on facelift this time around – and if not, then she’s going for a ton of procedures, including nose thinning, cheek implants, filler in her lips and cheeks as well as Botox pretty much all over,” says our source. “Then there’s her
thighs – she’ll have lipo-dissolve treatments to stave off any pockets of fat. Her butt’s still a work in progress. She’ll have contouring treatments until she’s got her ‘perfect shape’. Throw in a boob lift and some lasering on her neck and chest, and there’s unlikely to be any piece of her body that’s not had work done before she walks down the aisle.” n SOPHIE GODDARD
