Binky puts herself under pressure to lose baby weight
She’s pushing herself to become the ultimate yummy mummy
S he’s only just had baby daughter India, but Binky Felstead doesn’t intend on recovering out of the spotlight. The 27-year-old, who gave birth on 12 June, recently revealed she’s launching a maternity retreat where mums can learn about health and nutrition and “get back to feeling good from within”.
But it’s not just other mums’ inner glows concerning the star – with photo shoots and endorsements in the pipeline, she’s determined to shape up, and she’s not wasting any time in doing so. Binky, who was revealed as the new face of sportswear brand Reebok just before she announced her pregnancy earlier this year, is already back in the gym with her trainer, Tyrone Brennand.

Chelsea star tells heat. “She still sees everything as a business and she’s very competitive. She wants to look like the best showbiz mum out there and she’s willing to put the work in to make it happen. It’s obviously her competitive side coming out and she wants to get back into the ring, so to speak.”
Speaking to heat in April, Binky said that she was already thinking about her post-pregnancy fitness plan, saying that “the most important thing is to get my body healthy and strong again first, so
I’ll be working on my pelvic floor and all that malarkey.”
But according to sources, the star – who debuted her pregnancy reality series Born In Chelsea earlier this week – is upping her efforts in a bid to stand out among her new-mum contemporaries, such as Billie and Sam Faiers, Amy Childs and Stephanie Davis. Billie who, like Binky, designs and models her own fashion range for Inthestyle, snapped back into shape in no time at all. Now Binky wants a slice of the success and opportunities to be had from being the ultimate “yummy mummy”– and obviously the only posh one of the bunch.
“There’s a lot of money to be made from her post-baby body, and Binky’s determined to get fit. She reckons, if she works hard, she can bounce back in just a few weeks,” our insider tells us. “She really wants to get back into a bikini and do a shoot to show off her body. She’s going to be training hard to get the ‘wow factor’ in the shots.”
Meanwhile, it’s clear that Binky is free to focus on business ventures thanks to her happy home life. W hile she played out her fair share of love dramas on MIC, Binky says she and baby daddy Josh “JP” Patterson are finally happy and settled. According to our source, “Their close friends are wondering how long it will last, but for now they’re being incredibly sweet with one another and JP has been particularly impressed with how much energy Binky has and how quickly she’s been recovering so soon after giving birth.”
JP, for his part, hasn’t been shy in heaping praise on his baby mama, telling a magazine last week, “I can’t describe how much admiration I have for Binky, for what she’s been through. I love her so much for that. Having India has cemented us, even more than we were before.” n CHARLOTTE OLIVER
