Pack your suitcase like a celeb (or, more accurately, like a celeb’s personal assistant)

Celebs share their holiday space-saving hacks…

‘WORK OUT WHAT YOU CAN BUY ON HOLS’

EX-MIC star Lucy Watson “I buy a wide-brimmed straw hat when I’ve reached my destination to stop it getting damaged en route, and I always pack some simple black Havaianas. I think they’re the best – they go with everything and they’re super-comfy.”

‘PRE-PLAN YOUR OUTFITS’

Love Island 2016 star Olivia Buckland “I always try on my outfits before I go away to save me packing things I won’t wear. And I have this amazing case from a company called Bluesmart, which you can lock with an app. It’s connected to GPS, too, so you can never lose it and it has a charger inside. I also always buy toiletries in mini form at the airport to save space.”

‘ORGANISE EVERYTHING IN ZIPLOC BAGS’

Model Chrissy Tiegen She packs her clothes in large ones, then squeezes out the air so they stay flat. Chrissy adds, “I like them for cosmetics that might leak, in which case I ‘double bag’, so that I can easily see where everything is.”

‘ONLY PACK FOUR COLOURS’

Model Rosie Huntington-whiteley “It’s amazing, because basically it means that everything works together. I make sure everything is interchangeable and versatile – like taking a uniform, as opposed to just lots of different things.”

‘WEAR YOUR GYM KIT ON THE PLANE’

EX-MIC star Millie Mackintosh “I like to keep up my workouts when I’m away, so I’ll pack lightweight trainers and some resistance bands. You could even pack a TRX and wrap it around a palm tree! I mix and match kits from Lululemon and Lorna Jane—they are so comfortable and look smart enough to travel in, too.”

‘INVEST IN A SUPERLIGHTWEIGHT CASE’

Model Lily Aldridge “I just bought a new Tumi carry-on, and it is so amazing. I actually Youtubed it beforehand and this woman had a thousand things on her bed and she rolled it all up and put it in her little Tumi suitcase, and I was like, ‘I’m sold.’ I can literally fit so much inside – it’s a game-changer.”
