Candice: The Bake Off winner talks famous fans and her first cookbook…

As Bake Off prepares to enter a new era, reigning champ Candice Brown (who has become just as famous for her pout as her pastry) is on the brink of a new chapter, too, as she publishes her long-awaited cookbook. The book showcases Candice’s love of real, oldfashioned food with a pretty, vintage twist, and the dishes have been inspired by her memories of childhood. We asked the 32 year old to share two of her treasured recipes, and found out how her life has changed since she lifted the trophy.

Your book is beautiful – is it all a bit of a dream come true for you?

Massively, I still can’t quite believe it. I went into a book shop with my mum and sister, and it was just there. I was like, “Whaaat?”
