In the penultimate episode of this current run, Ross is determined to make sure George loses the election, for the good of himself, his family, the locals and mankind in general. And he also has to make sure he gets a headstone made for poor Aunt Agatha’s grave, because George obviously couldn’t give a damn. He’s busy questioning Dwight over young Valentine’s legitimacy, getting increasingly paranoid and jealous until he shuts out Elizabeth. Lucky Elizabeth.
