She needs therapy, not surgery, say her family
She’s hardly shy about her love of going under the knife, owning up to eight boobs jobs, a nose job, liposuction, Botox and lip fillers over the years. But Katie Price still shocked us last week by releasing a video flaunting the results of her first-ever facelift.
“That’s right, facelift,” the 39 year old told her followers, before detailing how she’d had permanent surgical threads inserted into her cheeks five days earlier, in a £5,000 procedure known as a “Silhouette” facelift.
“I know you all think I’m mad,” she added. “I am mad, but I’m preventing ageing.”
Insiders tell us her insecurities – made worse by husband Kieran’s past affairs – are driving the mum-of-five to extremes. Her family fear she’s more addicted to surgery than ever, and can’t talk her out of it.
“Kieran and the kids are tired of telling Katie to stop messing around with her face,” a source close to the star tells heat. “They all think she is beautiful, but Katie doesn’t see that. Junior told his mum she would end up looking like the Bride of Frankenstein.
“Kieran’s worried that she has had so many infections and complications, her body is a ticking time bomb, while other friends and family are concerned she may need therapy, not surgery.”
But Katie – who’s also planning her ninth boob job ahead of her 40th birthday next May – thinks surgery will stop the clock. Our source tells us she is “massively paranoid about ageing and wants a face to match her body age of 25”. The former glamour model has warned that she has no intention of growing old gracefully, arguing that her looks are her product and “no one wants to buy into haggard and saggy”. The lesson here is never underestimate the Pricey, we guess.
