SCHERZY REIGNITES FEUD WITH CHERYL
SIX YEARS LATER, THEIR SQUABBLE IS STILL GOING STRONG
Poor Cheryl just can’t escape the drama at the moment. On top of her latest falling out with Sarah Harding , Nicole Scherzinger reignited tensions with her former rival last week by spending the night partying with the ex-husband Cheryl would rather forget, Jean-bernard Fernandez-versini. “Cheryl is really annoyed about this and the drama it’s caused,” says an insider close to the former Girls Aloud singer. Nicole, 39, happily posed for pics with Cheryl’s ex, who she divorced last year on the grounds of his “unreasonable behaviour”, and we’re told, “Everyone knows Cheryl was deeply unhappy in her 18-month marriage to JB, so Nicole giving him the time of day and the pics being posted all over Instagram is a massive insult. It feels like Nicole is playing games with Cheryl, trying to wind her up. Their feud is 100 per cent reignited and Cheryl is ready to tackle Nicole about it.”
The singers’ awkwardness dates back to the US X Factor in 2011 when Nicole – then the presenter – helpfully volunteered to take over when Cheryl was fired from the judging panel. Cheryl later wrote in her book that meeting Nicole had been “awkward” because “the woman” sang
Promise Me in her face. But our source adds, “Nicole thought it was hilarious when she saw JB. She has mutual friends with him, so their night out together wasn’t deliberately to annoy Cheryl, but, to be honest, it was a bonus.”
