‘I work out more for my mind than my body’

MIMI, 20

How did you prep for Ibiza? I’ve been on a big health kick and I’ve been doing really low-sugar. I’ve been eating a lot of veg and lean protein, and I’ve also been doing intermittent fasting. I think it’s really smart to give your digestive system a break from food. It was less for weight loss and more for health. I stopped drinking coffee, too, and I have so much more energy now. Do you still drink? Yes, but the worse thing for me isn’t the booze, it’s the hangovers. I get really bad ones, and when I do, I have no motivation and want to order ten pizzas and stuff my face! What exercise do you do? I have a boxing trainer and I do PT stuff. I have two trainers and it’s pretty intense. You need a hot trainer to get you motivated. How body confident are you? I’m not going to say I’m perfect, but I work out for my mind more than my body. It just so happens that when you do, your body looks better. Do you put on weight easily? It’s so tough being short [Mimi’s 5ft 1in], because if I lose 5lbs, it’s like, “Oh my God, are you not eating?” And if I gain 5lbs, it’s like, “Oh f**k, I’m chubby now!” But I’m happy with my body. Favourite body part? I love my butt, because I do squats – I work hard for it. I find it sexy when a woman has a great bum. Anything you’re less keen on? I’d like more definition. Whose body would you like? Ella Willis has an amazing body and it sucks, because she eats whatever the f**k she wants!
