First her ex, Gaz Beadle, announces he’s expecting a baby, then Bear dumps her via Twitter – inside Charlotte Crosby’s week from hell
They split up, then they didn’t, then they did…
We really feel for Charlotte Crosby. She’s spent the past few months tirelessly gushing about her love for boyfriend Stephen Bear, who recently asked her to move in with him. But by the end of last week, the 27 year old was dealing with a new reality, after suffering the heartache – and shock – of being publicly dumped on Twitter.
“Charlotte’s devastated,” a source tells heat. “Despite their problems, she thought they were back on track, so this has come as a real shock.”
The writing was on the wall for Charlotte and Stephen, who got together in February while filming reality show Just Tattoo Of Us, early last week, after a tipsy Charlotte tweeted, “Gutted that me and Stephen had to separate but I tried my hardest and it obvs wasn’t good enough.” But the following day, the star backtracked on Snapchat, blaming her words on a “drunken” spat. She told her followers, “Me and Stephen aren’t actually separated or finished, we just had a bit of a row.”
Soon after, Charlotte was posting pictures of them together with captions declaring her love for him. But, in a case of horrendous bad timing, Charlotte’s ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle then announced he was expecting a baby with his girlfriend Emma Mcvey, prompting headlines reminding us all that Charlotte suffered an ectopic pregnancy with his baby last spring. The next morning, Charlotte appeared on Irish TV to promote her make-up range Flique and, clearly moved by the loyalty of her fans, she burst into tears, saying she had been “overwhelmed by all the support” she’d received following her emotional few days. She explained she was also upset because “me and Stephen have had some hard times lately as well”.
Stephen, meanwhile, was thousands of miles away in Las Vegas with friends. But that didn’t stop him taking to Twitter the very next day and telling his 300k fans, “Sadly me and Charlotte have split up. We have had a good run but we wasn’t right for each other,” ending the post with a crying face emoji. Our insider adds, “Him going off to Vegas when she had such a big launch was not great timing.” Which sounds to us like this may have caused things to kick off.
At the time of going to press, Charlotte had yet to comment on the split. We can only imagine her pain – especially as she has so openly declared her love for the Celeb BB star and said she hoped she and Bear would get married and have children. We hope Charlotte can keep on drawing strength from her incredible 5.9million fan base. n
