Yes, this new 60-minute special does look rather like a reboot of ITV’S Stars In Their Eyes, which funnyman Harry Hill had a spirited stab at reviving in 2015, but that’s probably a reason to tune in. This time around, the ever-brilliant Paddy Mcguinness takes a break from the Isle of Fernando’s to host the show, which gathers the world’s (allegedly) finest tribute artists and pits them against each other. Tonight, we’ll see imitations of the likes of Whitney Houston, George Michael, Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars. Just for some added spice, the show will also pair stars up for surprising duets, so we can close our eyes a little and pretend it’s real. Even if the acts turn out to be dodgy, we trust Paddy to make us laugh, so it’s a win-win scenario.
