MOLLIE: ‘I won’t score just by posing’
If dancing in front of millions of TV viewers isn’t scary enough, Mollie King’s also got to handle the pressure of being labelled a frontrunner before she’s even taken her first solo spin. And the Saturdays singer tells heat she’s already feeling the nerves. “I think there are expectations because I’m from a pop band, so have performance experience,” she says. “But this is a new ball game. With The Saturdays, most of our dances were just posing, but I don’t think I’d score very well doing that.” The 30 year old adds that she’s also dealing with the burden of being compared to former bandmate, and 2014 finalist, Frankie Bridge. “She hasn’t given me advice, but I need her to,” says Mollie. “I’m like, ‘Get on the blower!’”
