How’s being a mum?
It’s the best feeling in the world. I was expecting it to be harder, but she’s a very good baby.
Do you have a nanny?
No, we’re doing it on our own. When I go to the gym in the morning, Mum will pop round and look after her. I feel like people expected us to say, “Oh, we’ll just pay for a nanny to do all the work.”
The gym visits are clearly paying off…
[Laughs.] You haven’t seen me naked! I have been working hard. It’s just good for my head; not fitting in my old clothes is really stressful.
Are you back to your prepregnancy weight yet?
Oh God, no! That’s way off.
What have you been doing in the gym?
Just a little bit of training on my tummy – crunches and sit-ups. I love my running and step

machines. I’ve got bigger, so it’s a bit harder this time round.
Do you think there’s pressure on celebrity mums to bounce back into shape?
It’s your body, do what you want to do. I was pictured with my hair in a messy bun, breastfeeding with a cloth over me, with sunglasses hiding my bags. I looked like a typical mum. It’s real and I’m not trying to hide anything.
How is JP finding being a dad? Are you enjoying finally living together?
It’s all I’ve ever wanted. The only thing is, he’s not doing his house chores, like emptying the bins.
Will you get married?
One day maybe – who knows? Maybe when India can walk down the aisle. I’d like three children if possible, the same as my parents.
Like K-middy! Will you be sending her some of your My 1st Years range?
Absolutely. George already has their dressing gown. ■ India is definitely a daddy’s girl. But if she’s sleeping, he’ll be trying to wake her up. I get cross about that.
