Katie gives Kieran an ASBO
Because true love means keeping bae under surveillance
This whole thing is making our heads spin. After weeks of accusations of infidelity and almost daily divorce declarations, it looks like Katie Price and Kieran Hayler are back together. Again.
The pair were spotted out as a family last week at an amusement park, before heading to a nightclub – just the two of them, in matching outfits. But it seems like Kieran’s day off from his chores on the farm was a rare occurrence, as insiders say he’s being kept under lock and key… with the help of a stopwatch.
“They’re back sharing the same bed, but he’s got what she calls a ‘Kieran ASBO’,” says a source close to the couple, who split in August, when the Loose
Women presenter accused her husband of cheating with their nanny, Nikki Brown.
“She’s still not sure she can trust Kieran, so she’s got him on a tight leash,” says the source. “She’s been following him round the house, timing how long he takes to do all the chores – that way, when he’s running errands on his own, she can make sure he isn’t doing something he shouldn’t. Kieran had no idea he was being watched, he just thought she was being lovey-dovey and wanted to spend time together.
“Katie even went to the shops with him and walked the dogs, so she could see how long it all took. His every move is monitored on CCTV, and she even gets a notification on her phone every time the home gate
buzzes, which shows her who is going in and out.”
Friends say it’s exactly what happened in 2014, when Kieran, 30, admitted to cheating with Katie’s friends, Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas.
“It’s history repeating itself,” says an insider close to Katie, 39, who is mum to Harvey, 15, Junior, 12, Princess, ten, as well as her two kids with Kieran, Jett, four and Bunny, three.
After his affair was revealed, his daily tasks – including cooking for the kids, feeding the farm animals and doing the school run – stepped up a notch.
Our source adds, “Kieran’s a kept man, in all senses – especially financially. He knows he’s got to do what Katie wants if this marriage has a chance of surviving. All he asks for in return is respect – to be able to see his friends when he wants and to be allowed to do work that he’s genuinely interested in. But he’s doesn’t seem to have any chance of that now. Any sort of freedom he had has almost gone. But it’s either that or go back to being single and broke.”
