Friends tell heat that Kate’s hoping to transform her image into one of a superhealthy devoted mother, with the help of a £10,000-a-night retreat. And it’s all because she wants to have a baby with her on/off fiancé Count Nikolai von Bismarck.
“Kate’s wanted a second child for years now,” says an insider close to the 43 year old, who is already mum to Lila Grace, 14, with her ex Jefferson Hack. “She’s realised that this is her last chance to have a baby and she wants to give it one more shot. The model, who’s had a rocky relationship with toy boy Nikolai, 30, since 2015, has been known to regularly spend time at expensive retreats whenever she wants to detox. “She uses these fasting retreats as a way to ‘reset’ her body after going mad with partying,” says the source. “She does juicing, colonics and infrared saunas and drinks nothing stronger than black tea.”
So, it might sound like yet another fad, but friends say Kate’s more determined than ever before. “She knows she’s not got long to have another baby,” said the insider close to Kate, who split from musician Jamie Hince, 48, in 2016. “There was a point where she entertained the idea of asking Jamie to have a kid with her despite their divorce, but now she wants to do it with Nik. He’s keen, but her friends think it’s a bad idea because of her lifestyle and their rocky relationship. She’s determined, though. Nothing will stop her.”
