Wayne gets ready for some hands-on parenting as Coleen puts him to work

f Wayne Rooney is expecting normal service to resume once Coleen finally forgives him for his recent misdemeanour, he’s in for a bit of a shock.
Coleen is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child and has told Wayne – who was arrested and charged with drink driving in August – that he’s going to be fully involved with the baby when it arrives early next year. Even the not-so-glamorous parts.

sweat this time, but she wants to give it one more go for the sake of the children,” heat’s source explains. “He’s said he’ll do anything to win her back, and she needs help with the kids, especially the latest addition.
“Wayne has admitted in the past that he hasn’t always been that hands-on with the babies, leaving Coleen to do most of the work. But this time, he’ll be changing a lot more nappies and doing the night feeds. Now he’s no longer playing for England, he’ll have more time. He’ll be doing classes with the baby, as well as activities with the older children.”
Wayne, 32, has been banned from driving for two years and ordered to do community service, following his night out with party girl Laura Simpson. She said at the time they flirted all night and could have slept together if they hadn’t been pulled over by police, but has since backtracked on her claims. Coleen, 31, was on holiday with their three sons, Kai, seven, Klay, four, and 21-month-old Kit at the time – and hasn’t been seen wearing her wedding ring since. Coleen and the boys were also due to fly to Barbados last week without Wayne.
Speaking about the domestic routine in their Cheshire home, Coleen previously said, “Wayne’s not messy, he’s just… I can’t rely on him to do anything,” conceding that her husband will read the older boys a bedtime story, “while I sort the baby out.” But all that is about to change. “There’s no denying Coleen is still angry, but she knows they can’t go on living like this, especially with a baby on the way,” our insider adds.
“Family means everything to her and, while she knows Wayne is a good dad, there is room for improvement. Having a newborn can be stressful, and Wayne needs to make sure his wife is as happy as she possibly can be.”
