The past two weeks have been an emotional roller coaster for Ferne Mccann, following the birth of her first daughter Sunday. The TV presenter and former TOWIE star has been embracing her life as a new mum, surrounded by friends and family who have been supporting her. But all this has taken place while her ex – and father of her baby – Arthur Collins has been awaiting the verdict in his acid attack trial, which, as

Despite this pressure, we’re told Ferne is fully focused on Sunday and has told friends she has never known love like it. “It’s been quite daunting since leaving the hospital, but Ferne’s been lucky – so far, Sunday is a calm baby and she’s had loads of support,” an insider tells heat. “Obviously, [her mum] Gilly has been wonderful, as have the staff at The Wise Hippo [the private birthing company she used], but also good friends like Vicky Pattison, who has been popping round and helping out – she says Sunday has been making her broody!

“Ferne’s in a complete baby bubble at the moment and she can’t get enough of her little girl. She’s loved taking Sunday home and buying girly clothes and accessorie­s for her.”

We’re told Ferne, 27, is keen on breastfeed­ing, and has been getting advice from experts and friends. The insider says, “There is a breastfeed­ing support worker on hand if she needs it, but her friends [and EX-TOWIE co-stars] Sam and Billie Faiers have both breastfed, so they have been passing on tips.” The source adds, “The lack of sleep is quite a shock, but Sunday is a happy baby, and
