A quickie with... Scarlett Moffatt

What are you most looking forward to about Extra Camp?

Everything. I just can’t believe that I’m presenting on the show, it’s going to be so much fun. I’m really happy that I’m with Joel [Dommett] and Joe [Swash]. I feel like we’re a good fun team. Also, I get to watch the show an hour before the rest of the UK.

What are you feeling most nervous about?

I’ve got good nerves, because I really want to do a great job.

How do you feel about going back to the jungle?

I loved my jungle experience, so it’s not like I see going back as a bad thing, because I had the time of my life. I’m looking forward to it being different – I’ve watched it since I was 11, and then people have watched me watch it with my mum and dad on Gogglebox, then I went into the jungle as a campmate, and now I’m

presenting Extra Camp. I’ll be behind the camera next, or doing the lighting.

As the current Queen of the Jungle, what advice would you give this year’s celebs?

Just enjoy every minute. Even the bits that feel horrible, such as doing Trials, end up being your best days, because you can look back and think, “Oh my God, I did that.”

Would you rather cook for the whole camp once or empty the dunny every day?

I never emptied the dunny. I was the only person not to. Not out of choice, but you didn’t have to do it if you were president or vice-president, so I just didn’t end up doing it and I’m a bit gutted, to be honest, so I would choose the dunny.

What one item will definitely be packed in your suitcase?

Fake tan. Fake tan all the way.

If you could go back into camp, would you?

Yes! I want to be like Katie Price and go back in. There would be different people, so you’d learn new things about yourself.
