Justin & Selena: daily therapy to make it work

The pop superstars are looking happier than ever

It’s the make-up we wanted after the break-up that never seemed right. And now that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are officially back together where they belong, they don’t want to risk anything going wrong – and have been having daily therapy sessions to keep them on track.

“It was Selena’s idea – she told Justin she’d only take him back if they did couple’s counselling,” an insider tells heat. “Their therapist is a sensible older lady. They either see her in person or speak to her by phone every day. It’s an hour where they can check in with each other and express their feelings.”

As heat recently reported, Selena, 25, wants to take thing slowly with Justin, who she broke up with in 2014 following an emotionally exhausting four-year on/off relationship. Although Justin, 23, wasn’t initially keen on the intensive therapy sessions, he admits it’s working, even at around $2,000 a week. “There’s no denying that it’s helping them,” our source continues – and it could all be down to the therapist’s strict ground rules. “Every day they have to give a list of ten things they appreciate about each other, and she’s banned them from going on each other’s social media feeds for now,” we’re told. “The therapist is also enforcing a healthy lifestyle – no wild partying and zero alcohol.”

So far, Justin has ditched his partying, and the pair have been seen on a series of wholesome dates. Selena suffers from autoimmune condition lupus and this summer had a kidney transplant, which has given her a new outlook on life.

Our source adds, “Things between the two of them have been very stable and positive. If this keeps up, they could actually have a future together.

“As expensive as this therapy is, it seems to be having a positive impact.”
