Tamara Ecclestone reckons she’s done with dieting and being skinny now she’s a mum

The heiress has more important things to worry about

Like many of us, Tamara Ecclestone spent her twenties embarking on endless fad diets. But the 33 year old says she’s reached her happy weight – and it’s all down to daughter Sophia. The billionaire heiress says she no longer cares about being slim and working out, as she wants to focus on giving Sophia, nicknamed Fifi, three, a happy childhood.

“It used to be something I thought about more but, since Fifi, there are so many more important things than body and weight. I just want to be healthy. I spent my twenties juicing this, that and the other, and now it’s not something I lose any sleep over,” she said last week. “Being pretty and thin aren’t priorities in life, and I don’t want Fifi to grow up with those words being reinforced.”

Tamara’s World, the star was targeted by body-shaming trolls. One wrote, “She’s gained a lot of weight recently,” while another added, “I feel she’s getting wider – is she trying to hide a baby bump?”

But Tamara couldn’t care less what people think about her, telling heat recently, “I’ve learned to develop a thick skin and not pay attention to stuff like that.”

After giving birth in 2014, she slimmed down dramatically, sparking rumours that she was working out to drop the baby weight, but she says that couldn’t be further from the truth.

“I was breastfeeding around the clock and the weight loss just happened. But your body tends to find its way back again,” she says. “I wasn’t worried [about the weight loss] because it happened to my mum, but I don’t like being really skinny. It didn’t feel like my natural body weight, so I’m pleased it sorted itself out.”
